The Albatros D.V (Weber) Airplane Pack is a ready-to-play WW1 Wings of Glory model, fully compatible with historical WW1 Wings of Glory rules, as well as with Tripods & Triplanes.

The Albatros D.V was a fighter aircraft used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Service) during World War I. The D.V was the last Albatros fighter to see operational service, and it was subject to serious problem of structure. The improved D.Va version, with a reinforced wing structure and more resistant fuselage, was widely used by the Luftstreitkräfte and 1,612 D.Va aircrafts were built before production halted in early 1918. The D.Va continued in operational service until the end of the war.

Albatros D.V (Weber)

Valorous member of Jagdstaffel 3 and Kest 4b, the fighter pilot Ludwig Weber flew the Albatros D.Va in 1917. After the war, he was pilot and engineer for Junkers and a personal pilot of the Ethiopian emperor
